Amber Holmes is the Co-Founder and CEO of FauxReal Flowers, a franchise brand challenging the floral status quo in the wedding and event industry with sustainable, luxury faux floral rentals. Passionate about helping her owners build flexible, fulfilling businesses, Amber has built FauxReal around creativity, connection, and lifestyle balance. When she’s not designing dreamy blooms or mentoring franchisees, you can find her catching sunsets, chasing inspiration, or spending time with her family and her French Bulldog, Gaston.
A Business Built from Passion and Purpose
I’m Amber Holmes, and FauxReal Flowers began as my way to blend creativity with freedom. Before launching this business, I spent years in corporate sales—meeting quotas, chasing deadlines, and counting down vacation days like they were gold. Like many people, I wanted something more than climbing a corporate ladder. I wanted flexibility, creativity, and a lifestyle that felt like mine. I wanted the security of knowing that no corporate board could decide my future. I wanted a change.
I have always loved weddings—the joy, the artistry, the meaning behind them. Whether it’s a grand ballroom or a backyard celebration, it’s a day when two people make a promise to each other, and I’ve always believed that’s something special. But I didn’t want to give up every weekend to be part of the industry. That’s what led me to faux flowers. With our business model, arrangements can be designed and built in advance, and on-site setup takes a fraction of the time. It’s creative, sustainable, and flexible all at once.
Today, I get to design beautiful florals during the week while my team handles weekend deliveries. Some months I’m fully immersed in wedding season, busy and fulfilled. Other months I’m a full-time mom enjoying time with my family. I’ve built a business that allows for both, and that balance is what makes it so special.
Why Franchise FauxReal?
When Lisa and I decided to franchise FauxReal Flowers, it wasn’t just about growth—it was about sharing a lifestyle. I wanted others to experience the same opportunity I found: to build something beautiful, meaningful, and balanced. I wanted to create a path for people like 22-year-old Alexis Edge, who left her retail management job to start her own business in Wilmington, North Carolina, just steps from the beach. I wanted to make it possible for Paulette to build her own empire in Tampa, Florida. And now, we’re seeing that same dream take root in Myrtle Beach, Atlanta, Orlando, Charlotte, and beyond.
The demand for eco-conscious and stress-free wedding solutions continues to grow, and we’ve proven that this model works. Franchising allows others to step into entrepreneurship with confidence, supported by proven systems and surrounded by a community that values creativity and freedom as much as success.
My dream is to see FauxReal franchises bloom across the country, each one led by someone who believes that business should support your life, not consume it.
Work That Works for Life
Success, to me, isn’t just about flowers or financial success. It’s about freedom. It’s waking up excited to create, knowing your work matters, and still having time for the people and moments that matter most.
How much of your week do you want to take back?
FauxReal Flowers is more than a business. It’s a movement for dreamers, doers, and creatives who want to live life on their own terms and still build something incredible.
An Invitation to Bloom
If my story resonates with you—if you’ve ever wanted a career that brings both purpose and freedom—then perhaps FauxReal Flowers is meant to be part of your journey.
Together, we can redefine what it means to be in the wedding industry: sustainable, smart, and full of heart. Because you really can build a beautiful business and a beautiful life at the same time.
